Matt Lauer’s Wife Reportedly Threw Him Out of Their House
Matt Lauer‘s sexual misconduct scandal has already cost him his job with NBC. Now, it’s starting to look like it will also cost him his marriage.
Ever since the former TODAY host’s misbehavior came to light, there’ve been a lot of rumors about his relationship with Annette Roque. Previous reports suggested that a divorce was imminent, and now, Page Six says that Lauer’s model wife has thrown him out of their estate in the Hamptons.
From the report:
The former “Today” anchor is staying at another house nearby out east so he can continue to spend time with his kids. He owns a $36 million compound in North Haven, a house in Sag Harbor and a 40-acre horse farm in Water Mill.
And while Lauer’s reclusive wife has not yet filed for divorce, we’re told it is likely to happen soon. Reps for Lauer would not comment on whether the couple has formally separated following his sex scandal.
Roque previously filed for divorce back in 2006, citing “mental abuse, extreme mental and emotional distress, humiliation, torment and anxiety.” She reportedly withdrew the filing weeks later after she and Lauer reached a multi-million dollar postnuptial agreement.
