Sarah Sanders: Woodward’s Book ‘Nothing More Than Fabricated Stories’ to Make Trump ‘Look Bad’
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders is slamming Bob Woodward‘s new book full of explosive details about the alleged state of chaos within the Trump Administration.
Even though Brett Kavanuagh appeared before the Senate Judiciary Committee today for a wild hearing on his Supreme Court nomination, the news cycle on that was derailed in light of the numerous bombshells in Fear: Trump in the White House.
Not only does the book claim that Donald Trump called Jeff Sessions “mentally retarded,” it contains numerous anecdotes of high-level administration officials who frantically struggle to contain Trump’s chaos and prevent him from making catastrophic blunders.
In response to this, Sanders released a statement touting Trump’s “unprecedented successes” and assured reelection in 2020.
“This book is nothing more than fabricated stories, many by former disgruntled employees, told to make the president look bad,” Sanders said. “Democrats and their allies in the media understand the President’s policies are working and with success like this, no one can beat him in 2020 – not even close.”
