Taylor Swift Surprised a WWII Vet With a Performance at His House
96-year-old Cyrus Porter, a World War II veteran and Taylor Swift super fan got a Christmas surprise yesterday when the country singer showed up at his house to surprise him with a performance of “Shake it Off.” According to Billboard, when Swift heard that Porter uses her music to connect with his grandchildren, she decided to pay him a visit.
It’s not Porter’s first time seeing Swift live. He’s been to several of her shows, including driving hundreds of miles from his New Madrid, Missouri home to Memphis to hear her play.
