The Idina Menzel ‘Wind Beneath My Wings’ Cover is Here

The Beaches remake isn’t coming to Lifetime until January 21st, but Idina Menzel has already shared her recording of “Wind Beneath My Wings.”

In her version, the song has gotten a bit of an update- Menzel has made it her own.

We’re not crying, you’re crying. Her version sounds like more of a pop song than the original by Bette Midler, and her voice is perfect. It’s tough to follow an icon, but Idina has Midler’s blessing:
