Trump Rips CNN’s Jeff Zeleny After Report on ‘Blatant and Baseless’ Voter Fraud Allegations
President-elect Donald Trump tonight retweeted supporters who backed up his tweet from yesterday about “millions” of illegal votes.
The tweets tonight were sent to CNN’s Jeff Zeleny after he filed a report on AC360 that started off with him saying, “Donald Trump is showing signs tonight of being a sore winner.”
Zeleny called out Trump for the “blatant and baseless” allegations and said no one on the Trump transition has provided evidence of fraud.
Trump reacted by retweeting people criticizing Zeleny and adding his own thoughts into the mix:
"@HighonHillcrest: @jeffzeleny what PROOF do u have DonaldTrump did not suffer from millions of FRAUD votes? Journalist? Do your job! @CNN"
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 29, 2016
"@JoeBowman12: @jeffzeleny just another generic CNN part time wannabe journalist !" @CNN still doesn't get it. They will never learn!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 29, 2016
"@FiIibuster: @jeffzeleny Pathetic – you have no sufficient evidence that Donald Trump did not suffer from voter fraud, shame! Bad reporter.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 29, 2016
"@sdcritic: @HighonHillcrest @jeffzeleny @CNN There is NO QUESTION THAT #voterfraud did take place, and in favor of #CorruptHillary !"
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 29, 2016
For the record, Trump’s additions to those tweets are “CNN still doesn’t get it. They will never learn!” and “Bad reporter.”
Zeleny tweeted this out in response:
@realDonaldTrump Good evening! Have been looking for examples of voter fraud. Please send our way. Full-time journalist here still working.

UPDATE –– 10:05 pm ET: Trump followed up with this more direct tweet about CNN:
.@CNN is so embarrassed by their total (100%) support of Hillary Clinton, and yet her loss in a landslide, that they don't know what to do.
