Watch Floyd Mayweather go on Profanity Laced Tirade Against ‘Punk Ass’ Conor McGregor

screen-shot-2016-12-15-at-8-19-29-amThe sad march towards a seemingly inevitable Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor money grab continues this week with the release of Periscope video in which Mayweather went off on a profanity laced tirade against the mixed martial arts star.

In the one-minue video, the boxing champion (who recently said he was “happily retired” in an Instagram post) went off on the UFC lightweight champion in an a manner that seemed to indicate he’d be open fighting him.

“I ain’t never taking no L,” Mayweather said. “I’m fucking McGregor up too. Punk ass McGregor”

Mayweather last fought in September 2015, when he defeated Andre Berto to run his record to 49-0. Though he turns 40 in February, there have been indications that he may come out of retirement. Mayweather was ringside for Manny Pacquiao‘s most recent fight on Nov. 5, and afterwards, Pacquiao’s promoter Bob Arum put the chances of a Mayweather-Pacquiao rematch at 75 percent.

Despite the disappointing first fight between the two, Mayweather would almost certainly still make more money fighting Pacquiao than anyone else.

But it’s entirely possible that a bout against McGregor would be the second-highest potential moneymaker for Mayweather, were he inclined to return to boxing — which leads Mayweather to make occasional comments like these:

“I’m gonna slap the shit out of McGregor when I see him.”
