Watch This 97-Year-Old WWII Vet Perform a Stirring Anthem Rendition on His Harmonica

screen-shot-2016-12-08-at-1-41-24-pm-1 Yesterday in Pearl Harbor, Seton Hall squared off against Cal in the Pearl Harbor Invitational college basketball doubleheader. Prior to the game, Peter Dupre — a 97-year-old World War II Veteran who served as a medic who treated the wounded during the Battle of the Bulge — played the National Anthem on his harmonica.

It was an absolutely stirring rendition.

After the performance, Dupre tipped his cap to the crowd. They responded in kind with a warm ovation. It was a truly special moment.
