White Americans Are ‘Losing Out’ to Minorities, Say Trump Fans

A majority of Donald Trump supporters believe that white Americans are “losing out because of preference” to minorities, according to a Washington Post/ABC poll.

When asked “Which of these do you think is a bigger problem in this country — blacks and Hispanics losing out because of preferences for whites, or whites losing out because of preferences for blacks and Hispanics?” 54% of those polled who supported Trump’s candidacy believed whites being shortchanged was the bigger problem, compared with 42% of Republicans as a whole.
