Hillary Clinton Wins Nevada

 

flag_of_nevadaNevada has six electoral votes and has predicted the winner of every presidential election since, and including, 1980.

As of Monday afternoon, the RealClearPolitics average of the most recent Nevada polls showed Trump with a 1.5-point lead in a two-way race, and Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight gave Clinton a 53.4% percent chance of winning the state.

The polls close at 7 p.m. local time (10 p.m eastern). We will update with the reported results as soon as they come in.

Here’s how Nevada voted in the last four presidential elections:

2012: Democrat (52.4%)

2008: Democrat (55.1%)

2004: Republican (50.7%)

2000: Republican (49.5%)

UPDATE 3:56 PM ET: According to Votecastr, with 68.8% of votes cast, Hillary Clinton is up over Donald Trump, 46% to 45%.

UPDATE 5:18 PM ET: Latest Votecastr estimates show Clinton in the lead, 47% to 45%.

UPDATE 12:27 AM ET: Fox News calls Nevada for Hillary Clinton.
