Fox’s McEnany Complains About Media Reporting GOP Has No Evidence Against Biden: ‘Little Doubt’ They’re Covering For Him

Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany claimed Thursday that there’s “little doubt” the media is “running cover” for President Joe Biden by reporting that the GOP has no evidence for impeachment.

“Now Democrats and the media are rushing to [Biden’s] defense. Check out these headlines,” McEnany exclaimed. “Here’s Reuters: ‘House Republicans Authorize Impeachment Inquiry Despite Lack of Evidence.’ Over to The New York Times, describing the whole thing as a ‘Hunt For an Offense.’ Meanwhile, Al Jazeera is flat-out writing that Republicans have ‘No Evidence.’

“I seem to remember different headlines in a past administration,” McEnany quipped, referring to press coverage of her former boss Donald Trump.

McEnany’s source that there is, in fact, solid evidence against Biden came from House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA).

“On this ‘no evidence’ point, House Speaker Mike Johnson, he put it as succinctly as possible: $15 million flowed to the Biden family from countries like Russia and China; 22 times President Biden talked to his son’s business associates; 16 times President Biden lied to the American people; and we have the checks.”

She added, “Even Mike Johnson says, impeachment, we’re not there yet. But an inquiry, certainly.”

Co-host Shannon Bream cited a Fox News opinion poll to prove that an impeachment inquiry is necessary because Americans want it.

“Forty percent said they think something happened with Hunter’s business that Joe knew about. Or that’s ‘unethical,’ 29%. That gives you 69 percent of the people who were polled think something is not right with the president’s involvement with his own son,” Bream said.

She also cited polls from NPR, PBS, and Marist showing similar numbers.

“So, people, the more that they’re hearing, the more skeptical they are and think, maybe there’s a need for an investigation,” Bream concluded.

“There’s no doubt, and the media running cover, also no doubt there,” McEnany said.
