Joe Rogan Tells Elon Musk ‘Phase One’ Release of Epstein List Was ‘Bulls**t,’ ‘Frustrating’: ‘It’s Not Encouraging’
Joe Rogan called the “phase one” release of the Epstein list “so frustrating” and not “encouraging” for President Donald Trump’s administration.
Rogan was joined on Friday’s The Joe Rogan Experience by DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) head Elon Musk, who defended Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel following backlash from MAGA faithful disappointed a previously-teased list of associates to the late sex predator Jeffrey Epstein hasn’t been released.
Many critics expressed immediate dissatisfaction in the “phase one” release of this Epstein list, which came in the form of binders handed out to right-wing influencers. The information though was mainly already-publicly known. Epstein was a convicted child sex predator facing sex trafficking charges when he was found dead in his jail cell in 2019.
Epstein’s close association with many celebrities and politicians has led to calls for the release of names of people who flew to what was referred to as his “Pedophile Island” where many of his alleged crimes against minors and others were committed.
Musk insisted Bondi and Patel are dealing with “hostile” workforces.
Bondi already sent a letter to Patel demanding the “full and complete” Epstein files be released by Saturday morning.
Rogan called the “phase one” release “so frustrating,” arguing there has to be evidence not being released as there was clearly sex trafficking as Epstein close associate Ghislaine Maxwell is currently behind bars after being convicted of “facilitating and participating in the sexual abuse of children.”
Check out the exchange between Rogan and Musk below:
JOE ROGAN: “It’s so frustrating to be sitting in a situation where the list isn’t coming out.”
ELON MUSK: “Well, it better come out tomorrow. I mean, hopefully it comes out tomorrow.”
ROGAN: “Why did they release bullshit today?”
MUSK: “I don’t know.”
ROGAN: “What’s the point in giving these people, like, a happy folder to wave around in front of the camera with nothing in it that’s new? It doesn’t make any sense. It’s not encouraging.”
MUSK: “Like I said, it’s the tough thing that they’ve got is, you know, they’ve been made captain of a ship with a hostile crew. So they don’t have like, you know, so like you, you have, like, magical powers. You made captain of a trip with a hostile crew, you still have a hostile crew. You’ve got to bring in people who are going to be helpful as opposed to obstructionist. But yeah, I think the the public will be rightly frustrated if no one is prosecuted for the Epstein client list, no one at all. At least, I don’t know, the top five or something, like some number. There should at least be an attempt at prosecution of the worst offenders.”
ROGAN: “Well, particularly if Glenn Maxwell is in jail for sex trafficking because, like, well, sex trafficking to who?”
MUSK: “Sex trafficking occurred.”
ROGAN: “She’s in jail for it, so to who?”
MUSK: “Who are the clients?”
ROGAN: “Yeah, how do put someone in jail and you don’t even name the clients? That sounds kind of insane. It’s just stunning that they’ve been able to hold it back for so long. It’s really kind of amazing. When people say that people can’t keep secrets, what the fuck are you talking about? Look at this!”
MUSK: “A bunch of these things are not — it’s common knowledge, but we just don’t actually have the proof. So the proof is there. I mean, there’s lots of videos. It’s like a mountain of [evidence]. Whenever they raided Epstein’s place, there would have been like a mountain of evidence. Where is that mountain? Like, who took possession of the evidence? Specifically, the individuals.
ROGAN: “Where are the tapes? Yes. How many levels of clearance do I have to get to get into the vault?”
