Trump Calls On Kamala Harris to ‘Pass a Test on Cognitive Stamina and Agility’ — Despite Not Releasing His Own Medical Records

Former President Donald Trump took another page from his Best Defense is a Good Offense playbook Monday morning when he challenged Vice President Kamala Harris to take a “cognitive, stamina and agility” test.
Trump took to social media to criticize his political rival, who made news recently when she released her medical records, declaring that she is in “excellent health” at 59. Harris later blasted Trump for not doing the same. A medical statement for Vice President Harris was released on Saturday.
At a recent rally in North Carolina, Harris cited Trump’s refusal to participate in a second debate and his decision not to sit for a 60 Minutes interview and questioned why Trump hasn’t released a report on his health. Harris said Trump isn’t being “transparent with voters.” Harris also asked if the Trump campaign is “afraid that people will see that he is too weak and unstable to lead America?”
Harris’s recent attacks may have been what inspired Trump to respond, as he wrote on Truth Social:
I believe it is very important that Kamala Harris pass a test on Cognitive Stamina and Agility. Her actions have led many to believe that there could be something very wrong with her. Even 60 Minutes and CBS, in order to protect Lyin’ Kamala, illegally and unscrupulously replaced an answer she had given, which was totally “bonkers,” with another answer that had nothing to do with the question asked. Also, she is slow and lethargic in answering even the easiest of questions. We just went through almost four years of that, we shouldn’t have to do it again!
Trump’s cognitive ability has come under some scrutiny lately, though largely from partisan critics on the left. At 78 years of age, he is the oldest presidential candidate since President Joe Biden bowed out under his scrutiny of cognitive decay.
Trump bragged about a cognitive test he took while in the White House in an interview with Fox News in 2020, which he was later derided for boasting about how amazing he was in reciting “Person. Woman. Man. Camera. TV.”
