President Donald Trump celebrated the defeat of “treasonous creep” Alexander Vindman on Wednesday morning and called for his longtime foe to be prosecuted, one day after Vindman was upset by a socialist candidate in the Democratic Senate primary in Florida.
The president jumped on Truth Social to cheer Vindman’s “most gratifying” downfall, saying he was too incompetent to beat a “Radical Left Lunatic” who “can’t speak or think properly.”
Trump was referring to democratic socialist Angie Nixon, who stunned CNN’s Laura Coates when she vowed to give a “whooping” to her Republican opponent in the November election, shortly after she beat Vindman.
And after bashing Vindman for blowing the race — in which he had a 16-1 fundraising advantage on Nixon — Trump brought up the origin of their feud: Vindman’s key role in Trump’s 2019 impeachment over a phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Trump said he was vindicated for his “Perfect Call” and Vindman should still pay a price for testifying against him:
The most gratifying loss last night was that of a real treasonous creep, Alexander Vindman, to a Radical Left Lunatic, who can’t speak or think properly, and who will go down to certain defeat at the hands of Ashley Moody, a truly Fantastic Senator, from the Great State Florida.
Vindman, if you remember, was the one who lied about my “Perfect Call” with President Zelenskyy of Ukraine, only to find out that the conversation was routinely recorded and proved that I was 100% in the right (Completely Innocent!). It was, indeed, a Perfect Call, and the Dumocrats Fake Impeachment effort massively failed. Vindman should be prosecuted for what he did! President Donald J. TRUMP
Since testifying he was “concerned” by Trump’s call with Zelensky in 2019, Vindman has become one of the more prominent Trump critics in the media and in politics. The retired Army lieutenant colonel said he will now support Nixon in her race against Sen. Ashley Moody (R-FL), whom Trump has endorsed.
In related primary news, Trump posted he tried to talk his scandal-plagued “friend” Rep. Cory Mills (R-FL) out of running in the Sunshine State, but he was too stubborn to listen. Trump said he is now 100% behind the man who beat Mills in the Republican primary, former TV reporter-turned-politician Ryan Elijah.
