Times’ editor Kate Phillips took to Twitter to announce the inclusion and to snark, “So much for our left-wing conspiracy.”
So much for our left-wing conspiracy. The very latest NYT Best Seller List for Nonfiction incl. 'A Time for Truth' by Ted Cruz at No. 7.

The Times had been lambasted in recent weeks for excluding Cruz’s book “A Time for Truth,” even as outlets like Amazon and Barnes & Noble said they could find no evidence of bulk sales, and as other bestsellers lists that exclude bulk sales, like The Wall Street Journal and USA Today, included the book.
Cruz responded in a statement to Politico’s Dylan Byers: “What’s transpired at the New York Times in the last two weeks raises troubling questions that should concern any author… The New York Times has a responsibility to authors and readers to have the Public Editor Margaret Sullivan examine its methodology — and I join others in calling for the Times to do just that.”
