For those tuning into Super Bowl LVIII with little to no knowledge of American football, Dora the Explorer was on hand to walk them through the game.

On Nickelodeon’s alternate broadcast of the Super Bowl, the fictional character was the rules expert in the booth. It’s a role usually held by the likes of CBS’s Gene Steratore and Fox Sports’ Dean Blandino.

While Blandino and Steratore usually discuss the intricacies of the rules, Dora broke them down in layman’s terms for an audience that composed of mostly children. Her first show of expertise came when San Francisco 49ers tackle Trent Williams committed a holding penalty.

“Holding is the illegal grabbing of a player, who is not in possession of the football, in order to gain an advantage,” Dora said when she appeared just above the scoreboard in the bottom right corner of the screen. “Both offensive or defensive players can be called for holding.”

She then ended a breakdown with a reference to the most iconic line from her show.

“Say it with us,” Dora said. “Players, no holding!”
