Trump Tells Supporters In New Mexico ‘Your Votes Are Rigged’ While Trying to Urge Them to Vote

Former President Donald Trump went on a bizarre rant to his supporters in New Mexico claiming their “votes are rigged” while urging them to still vote for him.

On Thursday afternoon, the GOP nominee greeted thousands of supporters at a rally in Albuquerque, New Mexico by claiming his advisors told him not to visit the state. Trump said he was told not to come to New Mexico because he can’t win the longtime blue state.

According to Real Clear Politics, Vice President Kamala Harris maintains a strong lead over Trump on average at 7.4%, although recent polls have indicated the race could be tighter. Nationally, Trump and Harris are virtually tied per Real Clear Politic’s polling average.

Trump then told his supporters that their “votes are rigged” but at the same time urged them to still vote for him because “we can New Mexico.”

“Thank you very much, New Mexico. What a good place,” Trump told his cheering supporters. “Look, I’m only here for one reason. They all said ‘don’t come.’ I said, ‘why?’ ‘You can’t win New Mexico.’ I said, ‘Look, your votes are rigged. We can win New Mexico. We can win New Mexico.'”
