CNN Panel Goes Off the Rails as Kevin O’Leary Trashes ‘Loser’ Kamala Harris: ‘She Was Horrific!’

A CNN panel ignited as Shark Tank’s Kevin O’Leary called former Vice President Kamala Harris “horrific” and a “loser.”

On CNN’s NewsNight on Tuesday, panelists were reacting to a book excerpt from Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again by CNN’s Jake Tapper and Axios’s Alex Thompson in which top Harris advisor David Plouffe said former President Joe Biden “totally fucked” Harris’s campaign by remaining in the 2024 race so long.

Democratic commentator Bakari Sellers set off O’Leary by defending Harris.

“There’s nothing about Kamala Harris that’s a loser,” he said. “Let’s just put a pin in that.”

“Oh, I think there is. She lost big time,” O’Leary said.

The panel immediately ignited into intense crosstalk as O’Leary, known to fans as “Mr. Wonderful,” laid into Harris as a candidate while Sellers and others jumped in to defend the former vice president.

“I’m not being disrespectful!” O’Leary said above the noise, responding to CNN commentator Karen Finney. “I’m talking facts. She got slaughtered because they disavowed the process. They anointed her and she got slaughtered. That’s what happened.”

Anchor Abby Phillip then attempted to reel in the conversation as O’Leary declared, “She was horrific!”

“Kevin, Kevin, one point of clarification,” she said. “She was elected in the 2020 election, along with Joe Biden.”

“She was not elected president of the United States,” O’Leary responded as Phillip continued.

“She was elected in 2020 on the same ticket as Joe Biden, so there’s that,” Phillip said as she teased the next segment.

“It’s hard to tell the truth. She couldn’t put two sentences together,” O’Leary added.

“Oh, come on, Kevin,” Phillip said. “We know that is not true.”
