‘I’m Too Anxious’: Trump Opens Up About His Lack of Sleep and Morning Routine

Former President Donald Trump admitted that he was “too anxious” after a question about his morning routine from a Fox & Friends viewer.

Trump sat with the co-hosts of Fox & Friends Weekend on Sunday — making news for falsely claiming that he never said “Lock her up!” with regards to his former political rival, Hillary Clinton. (He did.)

On Monday, Fox & Friends aired additional parts of the interview in which he answered questions submitted by Fox News viewers. One focused on which Democrat Trump would be willing to sit down with to unify the country, and his answer was not a Democrat—it was Senator Joe Manchin, who just recently switched to being an Independent.

At the end of his answer, Trump said he would be willing to meet with anyone to unify the country.

Will Cain then supplicated himself by noting to Trump, “By the way, your sleep schedule, your diet. These are things of legend,” before posing a question from Rina in Liberty, Maine: “President Trump, what is the very first thing you do every morning?”

“So I don’t sleep a lot,” Trump replied. “I don’t say that as a badge of courage. You know, a lot of people are ‘I don’t sleep, and oh,’ and they maybe do.”

“I rarely eat breakfast. I don’t … it’s funny. I love food, but I don’t necessarily — I’m too anxious,” he continued. “I really enjoy life. It’s crazy. I shouldn’t enjoy life — I get indicted, I get impeached, I get… somebody said, ‘How do you live?'” to which the Fox & Friends Weekend co-hosts all laughed.
