Trump on DACA: ‘Chuck and Nancy Would Like to See Something Happen, and So Do I’
President Trump met with Democratic and Republican leaders this afternoon, and afterwards he made brief comments to reporters about how it went.
One of the big takeaways from the meeting was that Trump sided with the Democrats on funding the government and raising the debt ceiling:

i am told by multiple sources Rs are furious. The Democratic ploy — to keep debt limit short term — worked. It took just a few hours

On Air Force One later, the President said, “We had a very good meeting with Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer.” (He did not mention Paul Ryan or Mitch McConnell.)
He went through everything they discussed during the meeting before being asked about whether he’s sending “mixed signals” on DACA. The President said the following:
“Congress, I really believe, wants to take care of this situation. I really believe it. Even very conservative members of Congress, I’ve seen it firsthand. If they don’t, we’re gonna see what we’re gonna do… We discussed that also today. And Chuck and Nancy would like to see something happen and so do I.”
