‘Cold-Hearted Bastard’: Jedward Twins Hit Back After Louis Walsh Calls Them ‘Vile’ On Celebrity Big Brother
Entertainment twins John Grimes and Edward Grimes, known together as Jedward, hit back at Celebrity Big Brother contestant Louis Walsh, their former X Factor mentor, after he called them “vile” during a conversation with fellow contestant Coronation Street actor Colson Smith.
Walsh, who managed Jedward after their X Factor stint in 2009, was in candid conversation with Colson, who asked about the duo.
Walsh replied: “They were vile. But they were great for the show. I got five million quid for them. You know. I swear on my mother’s life. And they were vile. But they were novelty. It was great for the show. It was all about the show.”
Backlash was quick as the pair took to social media to lambast Walsh, calling him “a cold-hearted bastard” and an “absolute weirdo with bad intentions for all.” They accused Walsh of attempting “to make us sign our name and life away in dodgy contracts” and warned: “All future acts should be made aware of what this VILE man is really like.”
Jedward then shared clips on Instagram hanging out with The Only Way Is Essex star Gemma Collins, continuing to mock Walsh recording them eating a roast dinner with the X Factor judge’s face on it.
Collins, defending Jedward on Instagram, told Walsh: “”Louis, don’t be slagging off my boys. They’re not vile, they’re beautiful in every single way.”
