This morning on CNN, after some push, Kellyanne Conway said that there is “no question” to her that President Barack Obama was born in the United States, but she also spent much of the segment deflecting anyway.
Her boss Donald Trump lead the birther movement a few years ago and still refuses to say whether or not he believes that the president was born in America. That Conway would come right out and say that no, she’s pretty sure that the leader of the country was actually born in the country is pretty remarkable, even if she did try to talk about polls, her own birthplace in New Jersey, Hillary Clinton, and the fact that if Chris Cuomo wanted to know about Trump’s positions, he should have asked the man himself.

Cuomo, for his part, hit her quickly with, “You are his campaign manager. That’s why I’m asking you. You speak for him.”
Watch the entire thing above to see Conway go the route of Ben Carson and agree that birtherism isn’t really a prime rack upon which to hang a Make America Great Again hat, if you feel me.
