Today the murder trial of Jodi Arias, the admitted Arizona killer of ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander, continues as the defense makes the case for its “self-defense” claim.

After Arias took the stand for several weeks while maintaining the self-defense argument. Throughout her testimony, Arias broke down at the sight of crime-scene photos, listened to and explained her incredibly NSFW phone sex tapes before the victim’s family, and took questions directly from the jurors.

Even though Arias admits she shot and repeatedly stabbed Alexander, her defense claims she cannot fully remember the crime. She has called that fateful day an “anomaly.”

If convicted for Alexander’s murder, Arias faces the death penalty.
