Announcing ‘Undercovered,’ A New Feature to Spotlight Stories That Deserve Attention

Mediaite is pleased to announce a new daily feature called “Undercovered,” in which we will bring attention to critical stories and exceptional reporting that we feel are being generally ignored by the media.

Our goal is to highlight issues that truly ​impact lives ​but that few are covering simply because they aren’t “sexy” or “clickworthy” enough.

This could mean touting a fantastic local news report​, bringing renewed focus to journalism that untangles a complex domestic policy issue, or singling out coverage of harrowing, underreported ongoing stories in war-torn regions.

The stories in “Undercovered” may never chart on the trending topics page, but we hope that they will inform and inspire, as well as exemplify some of the ​most important stories and ​finest work that deserve​​ a bigger audience.
