Apprentice Executive Producer Donald Trump Says He’ll ‘Devote Zero Time’ to Show
By this morning, the biggest news story involving President-elect Donald Trump was the bombshell report that the CIA had concluded Russia interfered in the presidential election to help Trump. However, Trump decided to take to Twitter in the early AM hours not to comment on that blockbuster, but to speak out on another piece of news that came out yesterday.
As you may recall, it was reported that the longtime Apprentice host would keep his executive producer credit in the upcoming season of The Celebrity Apprentice. Campaign manager and adviser Kellyanne Conway said Trump would do this as a hobby — a hobby that will pay him $50,000 per episode — while comparing it to President Obama’s golfing.
The incoming POTUS tweeted out this morning that while he has a “big stake” in the franchise, he won’t be spending any of his time dealing with it while in the White House.
I have NOTHING to do with The Apprentice except for fact that I conceived it with Mark B & have a big stake in it. Will devote ZERO TIME!

He also took a shot at one of his favorite whipping boys over their reporting, using one of the trendiest terms right now to describe them.
Reports by @CNN that I will be working on The Apprentice during my Presidency, even part time, are ridiculous & untrue – FAKE NEWS!

While Conway defended Trump’s EP role, Trump Transition Team Vice-Chair Newt Gingrich told Fox News yesterday that he thought it was “weird.” On the flip side, new Apprentice host Arnold Schwarzenegger defended it.
