Clinton Campaign Reportedly Struggled to Get Her to Drink Water

Hillary Clinton‘s diagnosis of pneumonia aside, her aides are more concerned about the candidate’s chronic dehydration, due to her unwillingness to drink water, Politico reports.

“She won’t drink water, and you try telling Hillary Clinton to drink water,” a source close to Clinton said.

The same source described a hectic effort to rehydrate the candidate using several bottles of water and Gatorade.

Clinton collapsed Sunday while attending a ceremony at the 9/11 Memorial, which the campaign said was due to “overheating.” After video was made public showing her struggling to get into her truck, the campaign disclosed that she had been diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday.

Clinton is being treated with antibiotics and is expected to return to the campaign trail this week, aides said.
