College Republicans Campaign Ad Portrays Obama As Worst Boyfriend Ever

Its beginning to seem that, to many college students, President Obama has lost his luster. This was pointed out in a piece earlier today by Mediaite’s own Steve Krakauer, and now the Daily Caller tips us to a slightly less elegant take on the matter: an energetic YouTube video by the College Republican National Committee, in which Obama is portrayed as the boyfriend from hell.

“He lied to us.” “He started spending all of my money.” “He was telling me what to do all the time.” “He was a control freak.” No wonder the ad is titled “The Break-up.”

The mock-PSA begins with a When Harry Met Sally-style account of how college students were crushing hard on the Big Man On Campus. “He had me at ‘hope,’ ” says one girl. “He was the man!” a male bromantically swoons to the camera. Another guy even alludes to the MSM’s infatuation with Obama, telling us that Obama “sent a chill down [his] leg.”

But for the CRNC, this relationship was too good to to be true, and things begin to sour. “Where the jobs at,” a student asks, highlighting one of the biggest factors behind the disenchantment for college students of all political stripe.

It’s going to take more than flowers and an ‘I’m sorry’ mix CD to win these heartbroken kids back:

These young people are too young to realize about politics. They saw a huge smile on the face, played to their attention, told them he was the ONE, and way too many believed it. I do hope that they have all awakened to the fact that he is nothing but an outright Liar in Charge and will never believe a word that he says AGAIN!

They are better off listening to to ranting of idiot teabaggers and racist radio/tv commentators CLAIMING obama is lying when in fact people like you are the ones telling lies about him in the first place.
