Ferris Bueller–Er–Matthew Broderick Proves Life Moves Pretty Fast In New Honda Ad
After much anticipation, the new Ferris Bueller Super Bowl ad has been released on the internet — revealing itself to be…a commercial for Honda’s 2012 CR-V. Entitled “Matthew’s Day Off” — the ad is more a day in the life of Matthew Broderick and less a Ferris Bueller sequel per se, as some people had previously envisioned.

Still, there are a quite a few amusing homages to the 80′s comedy classic in the spot, including Broderick crashing a parade float and goofing around at a museum. It will be interesting what the reactions of other castmembers will be to this commercial, which airs during the Super Bowl on February 5th.
