Governors Are Just Like Us: Scott Walker Had To Sleep On Airport Floor Thanks To Hail Storm

There’s one constant in life; travelling sucks for everyone. I don’t care if you have a private jet filled with champagne and stewardesses who time travelled here from a decade where it was still socially acceptable to hire based on physical appearance, “getting there” will never be half the fun. Just look at Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker. He may be one of the most powerful men in the country, but he still had to sleep on the floor of an airport just because a few drops of rain decided to turn frozen.

Walker was going to a to a National Governors Association meeting in Salt Lake City when giant pieces of hail (about an inch in diameter) began raining down on the airport. Apparently, 1,000 people were caught there overnight. Walker, just like any other poor traveler, had to spend the night on the floor. His only advantage? For security reasons, he got to sleep on the floor of a conference room instead of the floor of the terminal.

Below is his Twitter account of the ordeal:

Of course, right now, a stiff back and smelly suit are the least of Walker’s problems. Still, there’s one question here that no one’s answering. With Walker spending the night in that conference room, how much tape did he put on the walls and how much did it cost to pull it off?

Below is a news report on Walker’s exciting night from Colorado’s KUSA:

I wonder if the airport maintenance workers are in a union?

Walker is my guvnur! Go Walker!

Funny how in Taxachusetts, the Dems there did the exact same things, but you never heard ONE PEEP from the MSM about it, did you?

Regarding unions previous comment. I do not think Taxachusetts would pass a voter ID bill.

    Wouldn’t have happened to Obama.

He would have waved his hand and the storms would have ceased, the ice would have melted, and the sun would have begun to shine with rainbows everywhere.

    Sigh.

I would have said he would have parted the waters but he wouldn’t bother with that since he can just walk on it.

Now I’ve heard everything, the Klan Party is now blaming the weather on Obama.

You seem to hate Massachusetts, guess what i live in MA and its pretty fine here. We get along pretty OK with a tax level bit higher than many other states. While we did repeal the tax on alcohol, it isn’t likely that we will go with a lower tax levels, considering that we have one of the best education systems in MA

Kvon isnt familiar with sarcasm apparently.

The most interesting thing about this story is that he’s apparently flying commercial? And didnt stay in a hotel? What governor does that?

Wow hes taking this austerity thing seriously.

I would have gladly offered him one of my guest bedrooms. Call a brother next time Scott!

Wow, I nickname a state and you inflate into hate. You put my hyperbole to shame.

By the way, did Taxachusetts pass the same measures as Wisconsin? Did you see that at ALL on the MSM?

Lived in Hyannis for a year, 1/4 mile from the Kennedy complex. Do not miss it at all.

I kind of wish he would have been made to stay outside in a fenced in area exposed to the weather. After all he’s cutting the funds off to the needy so many will be without heat.
