Value Voters Summit Throws Out Fox News

video

You might think the people attending today’s Value Voters Summit in Washington D.C. would be the sort of folks who make up a large part of Fox News’ viewership: headliners today included Carrie Prejean, Mike Huckabee, and Michele Bachmann, and tonight’s keynote is being given by Fox host Bill O’Reilly. This warm welcome however, apparently does not extend to Fox cameras. Fox News reporter James Rosen was asked to leave the premises this afternoon while broadcasting live from the Summit (his contempt for the attendee “crowding” his space and asking for his removal is hard to miss.)

This avoidance of cameras (Fox, or otherwise) seems to be a theme for the Value Voters people: according to Politico not even O’Reilly’s address will be open to cameras. Video of Rosen’s exchange below. UPDATE: And video of MSNBC’s similar struggles can be found here.

This needs to be adopted by us all. It is time to start shaming Fox News employees, both professionally and in everyday public life, until the racism and hate stops.

Haha, ignoring the moronic/anti-american and off-topic comment above, this video is completely hyped up. Nobody was kicked out, the value voters attendee was completely polite (as much as you can be interrupting a live shot), and James Rosen didn’t show contempt at all. He looked humored. Who’s making a big deal out of this and why? (I heard about it on the Tom Sullivan show actually)

BTW I haven’t watched FNC in a while. When did that anchorman get his job back? (thought he left Fox a couple years ago)

You might think the people attending today’s Value Voters Summit in Washington D.C. would be the sort of folks who make up a large part of Fox News’ viewership…

No Glynnis, YOU might think that… but that’s because you’re an anti-FNC person. What I don’t understand, however, is why you’re so afraid to come out and talk about it? Just say it, “I’m a Liberal, and I dislike FOX News.” It’s not so hard… it’s not like after reading article after article from you, we can’t tell where you stand. I noticed you started commenting too… with your typical left-wing/anti-FOX stance. That’s great! You’re getting closer!

If you really believe something, you should be proud enough to talk about it. So talk about it Glynnis… say it loud, say it proud!

And then you can stop pretending that you’re not an anti-FOX, pro-Liberal advocate.

Oh, for a BETTER view on the event… here:

I wonder why Glynnis didn’t mention MSNBC having a similar issue. Oh, that’s right… if you mean to smear FNC, you can’t always tell the full story or the truth! Oh well… perhaps next time.

I am a traditionalist…not right or left…but I enjoy listening to the hate spewed out by the UberLeft, Left and the silence of the Classic Liberals. I wonder what these nutroots would feel if ABC,CBS,NBC,PBS, MSNBC, DNN, C-SPAN, et.al., were to use only the right’s side? And, why do you ask why the Values Voters are not allowing the non-mainstream media in? Because they don’t tell you the truth about the Right and impose their looney views in their articles, discussion and television shows. Why waste time fighting a horde of imbeciles?

  • Sue

For god’s sake, did I make a serious mistake: I signed up for Mediaite….then when I read the comments on a few subjects I noted the extreme hatred from the Left netroot fringe. On further investigation I find that the publisher is none other than the Don Abrams that is in charge of MSNBC…my apoloigies to all, I don’t deal with pure hate….I’m outta here!!!!

I think you are missing the point of the people at the summit and how they reacted to the reporters. You tried to make this an attack on FOX. The people attending the summit were ticked off because they kept getting interrupted by the reporters, who were talking and broadcasting during the speeches. These people paid to be there, and they didn’t want to have to listen to a reporter, ANY reporter, drown out the speakers.

You should insert the video from MSNBC to show what jerks the two *journalists* were.

There was no reason they had to broadcast during someones speech, was there?
