#NewUnitedAirlinesMottos Trends on Twitter As Airline’s Stock Plummets

Yesterday, footage came out showing airline police dragging a paying customer from an overbooked United Airlines plane. His face was bloodied and the image soon took over Twitter, cable news, and this morning’s newspapers. CEO, Oscar Munoz, released a statement apologizing for that whole overbooking thing, then an internal letter to staff more or less blaming the man who was removed. Stocks plummeted today.
