NYDN’s King Fires Back at Daily Beast Over Plagiarism Charge: ‘They Ride Hard for Hillary’

 

New York Daily News columnist Shaun King is firing back on Twitter this afternoon after The Daily Beast called him out for plagiarized paragraphs from their exclusive on the suffering of a black veteran.

Two paragraphs in his piece were word-for-word the same as the original, and people have found other examples of this happening. King insisted that he did not plagiarize anything and the problems came in the editing process:

He admitted that he doesn’t generally go back to read his stories after they’re posted:

King also lashed out at The Daily Beast and even invoked Chelsea Clinton being on the board of directors of IAC, the publication’s parent company, to raise some questions:
