In a panel debate on CNN, Brietbart.com editor Dana Loesch and Democratic strategist Robert Zimmerman debated the efficacy of President Barack Obama‘s reelection campaign’s attacks on Bain Capital. Loesch questioned the Obama campaign’s decision to run with attacks on Bain and asked “who’s running that clown car?”

Big Journalism Editor in Chief Dana Loesch has been tweeting some astute analysis of Mitt Romney‘s response to the race baiting Joe Ricketts-commissioned attack strategy against President Obama, particularly that the candidate is “playing good cop to PACs bad cop,”: and is “acting outraged” as part of that strategy.

Her analysis is so astute, in fact, that one liberal blogger thinks these revelations may have come from the horse’s mouth.

The conservative Twittersphere has been buzzing all weekend about the alternating suspensions and reinstatements of conservative Chris Loesch’s Twitter account. The Washington Times reports that Loesch, the husband of Big Journalism EIC and CNN contributor Dana Loesch, was “apparently targeted by leftist users” who used a spam reporting feature to trigger Twitter’s spam algorithm.

Loesch is back, and while that appears to be the correct result, the conservative reaction to this has been at once overheated, and half-baked.

On her radio program on Friday, CNN contributor Dana Loesch attacked MSNBC contributor Martin Bashir for being a “hack,” but also for being a “foreigner” who doesn’t understand American politics and is not qualified to discuss the subject. If you had asked me yesterday if I thought, less than 24-hours after making a substantive critique of Mr. Bashir for a particularly outlandish segment on his MSNBC program, that I would turn around and defend him from an attack by a conservative, I would have said I’d eat my hat… Well, pass the ketchup.

On CNN Newsroom Sunday night, Noel Sheppard, editor of conservative media watchdog Newsbusters, defended his criticism of the network’s failure to censor the n-word by telling anchor Don Lemon that “the nation is on the precipice of conceivably a very, very serious racial tension, or maybe even, heck, maybe even a race war” over the killing of Trayvon Martin and the shooting spree in Tulsa that left three black people dead and wounded two others.

Appearing on CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight, Breitbart.com’s Dana Loesch and BuzzFeed’s Ben Smith feuded over who had the real scoop on the controversial Obama hug video. “I wish that BuzzFeed would have showed the actual full video footage,” Loesch exclaimed, noting that Breitbart.com had the full B-roll of the footage.

Abortion opponents have leapt to defend Virginia’s pending forced ultrasound laws, which would require many women seeking abortions to undergo a medically unnecessary transvaginal ultrasound, on the basis that this coercive form of penetration is no different than the (usually) consensual penetration that resulted in the pregnancy to begin with, or the more invasive procedure they’ve chosen to have. Big Journalism‘s Dana Loesch delivers a prime example of this rationale.

In an interview on The Mike Gallagher Show, Fox News host Chris Wallace defended MSNBC’s decision to fire longtime contributor Pat Buchanan, calling the conservative pundit out for saying “some very incendiary things about Israel, about Jews, about Blacks, about other minorities,” and disputing Buchanan’s assertion that he was “blacklisted.” Wallace also compared Buchanan’s departure to that of Glenn Beck from Fox News, calling the former Fox superstar “irresponsible.”

Andrew Breitbart and his Big Journalism colleagues have been waging all-out internet war on Countdown host Keith Olbermann over his failure to correct (or clarify) guest Markos Moulitsas‘ comments on sexual assaults at Occupy encampments, and for statements Olbermann has made on Twitter since then that seem to indicate denial that any such assaults occurred. While there is serious, legitimate criticism to be made of Olbermann here, the Breitbart crew undermines that with overreaches and lies.

Despite never being issued an official suspension from CNN over her controversial comments about urinating on Taliban fighters, political contributor Dana Loesch was not booked to appear on the network between January 10 through January 30, Politico’s Dylan Byers reports.

One of the regular features of the Conservative Political Action Conference is the annual rite of the behind-the-scenes viral video kerfuffle. This year’s version features Washington, DC video gadfly Liz Glover, last seen asking Newt Gingrich if he’s currently in an open marriage, confronting conservative media provocateur Andrew Breitbart over gay conservative group GOProud‘s exclusion from the conference, with a quick tag-in by Big Journalism Chief Editor and CNN contributor Dana Loesch.

One week ago today, CNN contributor Roland Martin was tweeting during the Super Bowl, and ended up making some controversial comments that were interpreted by some as homophobic. Martin initially defended himself in the wake of calls by groups like GLAAD to get him fired, and then eventually apologized for his remarks, before CNN finally suspended him indefinitely. On Reliable Sources today, Howard Kurtz and panel debated whether this was the right move.

Earlier today the news broke that CNN contributor Roland Martin will not be appearing on the network indefinitely for what GLAAD perceived to be a homophobic tweet. Despite his personal ideological bent, the reaction from the conservative media was a swift defense of the longtime CNN pundit. But the conservative reaction to Martin’s suspension is no surprise because the conservative movement has long abandoned the left/right divide for a new war front: that between individuals and the media elite.

CNN contributor and Editor-in-Chief of Big Journalism Dana Loesch took a lot of flak over the weekend for her declaration of solidarity with the four Marines who videotaped themselves urinating on the corpses of alleged Taliban fighters, in which she said “I’d drop trou and do it too.”

Countdown host Keith Olbermann and liberal watchdog Media Matters, among others, have called for CNN to fire Loesch over the remark, and according to Big Journalism, even Politico is in on the act.

On Saturday’s CNN Newsroom, host Don Lemon spoke with political analyst Goldie Taylor about the controversy surrounding the four US Marines who videotaped themselves urinating on the corpses of alleged Taliban fighters in Afghanistan. Taylor, a former Marine, took the opportunity to call out CNN contributor Dana Loesch, calling Loesch’s remarks “disgusting,” adding “to say you would ‘drop trou’ and do the same thing, I question someone’s integrity who would say something like that.”

CNN political contributor and Editor-in-Chief of Big Journalism Dana Loesch came out in support of the video showing US Marines urinating on the corpses of Taliban fighters during her radio show Thursday. “Now we have a bunch of progressives that are talking smack about our military because there were marines caught urinating on corpses, Taliban corpses…Can someone explain to me if there’s supposed to be a scandal that someone pees on the corpse of a Taliban fighter?

Liberal watchdog Media Matters published an item yesterday showing that Andrew Breitbart‘s Big Journalism website repeatedly published an altered version of an anti-Semitic  Nazi-era propaganda cartoon. Breitbart responded that his blog had taken down the cartoon, prior to Media Matters‘ report, when editor Joel Pollak flagged the image as possibly offensive (the cartoon remains, at this writing, on three other Big Journalism posts). Neither party is content, as Media Matters continues to pound Breitbart, and Breitbart…well, that’s where this goes to 11.

By now, it is a well-established fact that former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney flips more often than a Nadia Comaneci flash mob, but a new radio ad from the Romney campaign reveals that his omni-positional malady is, apparently, communicable. The ad contains some recent, glowing praise from conservative mouth-bomber Ann Coulter, who somewhat famously torched Romney just a few months ago, at this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).

Appearing on John King, USA Wednesday night, Rick Perry‘s communications director, Ray Sullivan, suggested that Perry might skip some of the debates, believing that he would be better served campaigning in key states instead of trying to get a message out in 60-second clips. “When you’ve got eight or nine candidates and 30 seconds to a minute, it takes valuable time away from campaigning,” Sullivan said, pointing out that there are 18 more debates in the works.

Dana Loesch, CNN contributor and editor-in-chief of Big Journalism, has been sharpening her Tea Party cred against a Mitt Romney grindstone, bashing the candidate as an “unrepentant RINO (Republican In Name Only)” whom she “was against” in the last election, and this election. So great is her animus for Romney that she gets entire “mailbags of hate” from his supporters. The only problem is, Loesch voted for Romney in 2008, and the internet has the proof. This is the Tea Party equivalent of being in a mosh pit, and having a Justin Bieber CD fall out of your pocket.

It was a confrontation for the ages. Earlier today, conservative media titan Andrew Breitbart, Big Journalism editor Dana Loesch, and Big Government editor Mike Flynn ventured into the Washington, DC headquarters of liberal media watchdog Media Matters, reputed lair of billionaire boogeyman George Soros. Their quarry? A copy of Media Matters‘ IRS 990 disclosure form. Media Matters has released video of the confrontation between the conservative trio and Media Matters Executive Vice President Ari Rabin-Havt.

On CNN’s American Morning, St. Louis Tea Party founder Dana Loesch broke down the emerging matchup between Gov. Rick Perry and Rep. Michele Bachmann, noting that for grassroots Republican voters, “I think we’ve had one president in the last one hundred years who’s come from the House of Representatives,” and argued that “our best bets” are usually governors. Loesch said “I think that makes a really huge difference, and I think that’s something that grassroots voters are going to be paying special attention to.”

One of the strangest parts of the whole sordid affair surrounding the downfall of Rep. Anthony Weiner has been the differing accounts of this story, and how that engendered speculation and misreporting. Initially, the way the story was reported predictably fell along partisan lines, with many on the left immediately believing Weiner’s account of being hacked. Mediate countered speculation by highlighting alternate fact patterns and all of our reporting we stand by. It turns out, however, that the sources that we reported to be underage participants in the Weiner saga are not at all who they represented themselves as. The material facts of the entire story, though, remain unchanged.

Salon‘s Joan Walsh got a blistering reaction from conservatives when she wrote a column denouncing GOP Wishful™ Newt Gingrich (R²) over a raft of racial dog whistles, including his nicknaming of President Obama as the “Food Stamp President.”

Walsh appeared on The Ed Show with Prof. Michael Eric Dyson Monday night, where they discussed Gingrich’s oeuvre, and punched holes in the right’s predictable argument that is it Walsh who is, in fact, the racist for noticing.
