Make Some Noise: Latest Beastie Boys Video Features Cavalcade Of Stars
The Beastie Boys are releasing a new “unit of musical expression” (albums, records, and CDs seem to be dated terms) called Hot Sauce Committee, Pt. 2 on May 3rd, and as part of the promotion they’ve created a 30 minute video short that features Beastie Boys of old meeting the Beastie Boys from the future in an short film. The list of cameos is legion, including Elijah Wood, Danny McBride and Seth Rogan as the Fight For Your Right era version of the group, and Will Farrell, Jack Black and John C. Reilly as the futuristic version. There are also countless other cameos, but its more fun to watch and see than read them listed here.
Jimmy Fallon’s Crazy, Paint-Filled Christmas Duet With Jack Black
On NBC‘s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Fallon and guest Jack Black got very imaginative with their rendition of “Little Drummer Boy.” With paint flying everywhere, it seems both could be great additions to the Blue Man Group. This brief video is guaranteed to be more creative than anything in Black’s upcoming movie “re-imagining” Gulliver’s Travels.
