For those of you who support OWS, if you are to be honest you MUST hold your own protest to the same standards you’ve place on TEA Party events.  If not your value system is suspect and not credible.  

If OWS is about the 99%, ignoring the rule of law and sacrificing individuals in favor of an undefined  movement negates any positive message you may be trying to convey.  In civilized society it would even be considered cruel.

They keep talking about fringe elements.  Okay, start adding up the fringe.  Socialist, Communist, Anarchists, Primitivists, anti-Semites, and now rapists and thieves.  It’s quite probable that in this movement “fringe” may be the norm and not the exception.

Not having an organization or demands, let alone solutions, is all too convenient.  It absolves everyone of responsibility and the unpleasant chore or having to delineate solutions and hold people accountable for their behavior and actions.  

Why should I take such a movement seriously?  As an adult, when critical, I give solutions to problems.  If I don’t have a pragmatic solution I either keep my mouth shut or pose the problem and come together with others to figure out solutions.  

The general public is inconvenienced, expected to pay for clean-up, police, destruction of private and public property, and in some cases loss of business and livelihood.  These people, many of who are the 99%, deserve answers and solutions.  Most of all they deserve an apology and the ability to return to their normal lives and livelihood.

First they ignore you. Then they ridicule you. Next they fight you. Finally they AGREE with you. America’s relationship with OWS is at the second  of the above four stages. Soon will come the fight.

OWS organizers don’t want rapes and assaults reported to law enforcement, and they won’t be sending them to hospital emergency rooms either because the personnel working there are bound by law to report these kind of injuries. SO are they paying the victims to be quiet? My conclusion is yes.
