Fowl Play: Fox News’ Jon Scott Uses Every Bird Pun Possible In One Intro

Kudos to Fox News’ Jon Scott who managed to squeeze three whole bird puns into nine seconds of air time earlier. Quite possibly a world record. We’ve managed to capture it here to be used as reference in journalism classes from here on out. Of course, we here at Mediaite would obviously never stoop to anything so base as silly word play.

I’d leave a lenghthier comment…but I must duck out for a while – I am meeting my gull. After that I’ll probably try robin some time away from her. But I am not without my principles…I live by one cardinal rule: A bird in the hand is worth two in the obama. Oh yea, and another rule to live by: tern about is fair play. I’ll stop now…unless someone wants to egg me on…

Some of you may grouse about these puns, but some of us would rather think up a punrather than fly a kite or have someone goose us. Yea, that’s right…I’m not too swift…I’m a bit of a loon. So if you don’t like it…don’t hawk this site anymore and just go over to the puffin gton joke.
