Glenn Beck Talks Sedition, Mysterious FBI Pin On The O’Reilly Factor

Bill O’Reilly moved his weekly “At Your Beck and Call” segment up a day today to give his young apprentice Glenn Beck a bit of a pep talk after Joe Klein called him “seditious” and made him feel like “a horse stepped on my chest.” Also, why is Glenn Beck wearing an FBI pin?

To make things clear, O’Reilly asked Beck a few times if he was serious when he claimed he didn’t want to incite armed revolt. Beck was all too serious about his belief in peaceful protest. “That was the most amazing thing I think I’ve ever read about me,” he claimed and continued his pattern of bringing up Martin Luther King all the time to make his point that “the left” learned the hard way violence doesn’t work with the demise of Malcolm X.

Then the conversation took a strange turn– towards Beck’s lapel, where an FBI pin was twinkling conspicuously. Why was he wearing that pin? Well, Beck doesn’t really answer, but after some crosstalk a surreal Neil Cavuto graphic floats across the screen, so there’s that.

It’s unclear what the FBI pin meant or why Neil Cavuto got tossed into the conversation, but this led to a pep talk about the “seditious” slur from O’Reilly, who is clearly enjoying his role as mentor to his young, feisty grasshopper. Video below:

Perhaps in anticipation of the segment, O’Reilly made a more uncommon appearance this morning on the Glenn Beck Radio Program to discuss the recent video of former ACORN president Bertha Lewis admitting to being a socialist and what her claims mean for the Obama administration:

Tell me are Matthews, Klein, etc. actually PAID by the White House, or is it more quid-pro-quo PROPAGANDA?

Was the ‘S’ word tossed around during the 8-years of the Bush-Bashing media?

…or specifically, was it ever directed against the disgraced sportscaster & his ever-dwindling cult of uninformed viewers?

Beck is an entertainer and a damn good one, but he’s talking about a coming revolution and joking about having a political enemy locked in his basement. One could see, if they took him seriously, how he could be misconstrued.

Glenn Beck does an outstanding job of tying a president of the US to people that a president of the US should not be tied to and that really pisses of the lefties. That’s what I love about Glenn Beck and I can’t wait for him to take O’Reilly’s spot. Can’t wait!

I was surprised by O’Reilly’s solicitousness toward Beck.

O’Reilly kept saying that he didn’t want Beck to feel badly or to be discouraged by Klein’s comment.

There is a real cordiality between these two.

If Beck can’t take a hack like Klein throwing a pile of shiite his way, he needs to find another line of work. I wonder if it’s barry’s or rahm’s name on Klein’s check?

I guess this only counts if your a Dem:

Bill O and Glenn Beck are buds, for sure. They do a comedy tour called “Bold and Fresh” and their shows are always sold out within a day or two. I think they are the original “odd couple,” and I am also certain that their shows wild success is because of Glenn Beck. He’s a natural and very likable. Women want to pinch his chubby little cheek and squeeze him. lol! And men like him because of his quick mind and crazy sense of humor. He’s Number ONE in our family. We never miss his show. Go Glenn!
