Jimmy Fallon And Justin Timberlake Reprise The History Of Rap (Part Two!)
Last fall Justin Timberlake joined Jimmy Fallon (and world’s greatest house band The Roots) in a medley of hip-hop classics that went viral and brought smiles to lots of visitors to the World Wide Web. Last night Timberlake appeared on Late Night to promote what is surely his brilliant new film Friends With Benefits, and he and Fallon were cajoled by an enthusiastic audience to reprise the performance.
If there were any question about the “classic rock-ification” of hip-hop this should answer it, but who cares?! Its a terrifically fun clip to watch and reminds us that Fallon and his team of minions are consistently delivering the most fun, original and creative program during network late night.
