ratings

Cable news ratings, October 16, 2009: Check out the highlights, and see the full ratings below:

Rachel Maddow‘s 9pmET hour Friday night had the most total viewers of all non-FNC cable news shows. The hour was helped by a phone interview from MSNBC’s 8pmET host, Keith Olbermann, as the pair chatted about former Pres. George H.W. Bush‘s comments about them. Olbermann’s Countdown the hour before was a repeat.

• The top show of the night was Glenn Beck‘s at 5pmET, in total viewers and the A25-54 demographic. Beck had demo viewers than his competition had total viewers.

• The top non-FNC show in the demo was HLN’s Nancy Grace at 8pmET.

I am just curious why you title these posts in this manner? It sounds like you have a dog in this fight, by the way you phrase the ratings results.

Here are some possible other headlines, just to spice things up:

Arm of the Right wing, non-newschannel evil, hateful, racist FOX still kicking butt on all other channels combined.

    Olbermann’s ratings continue to drop.

Hey, they may be second, but at least more people watch Olbermann than Nancy Grace…oh wait, no they don’t.

Maddow had more viewers than Joy Behar, or Olbermann, and still over 1M fewer than Hannity.

Is Chris Matthews still even on MSNBC?

He has two hours of TV and still can’t come close to FOX ratings. Who is Wolf Blitzer?

I just think its funny that Olbermann and Maddow are still are whining about Bush… and there are people that watch that?

  • Subdivisions2112

The title of this article is hysterical sarcasm. Fox News continues to grow by leaps and bounds and people like Behar, King, Maddow, Olbermann, Matthews, Blitzer…they are all the same people! Combine their numbers and they STILL lose to Fox News. I would like to see the PST ratings. We always see EST ratings. I bet Red Eye is beating every show on cable news 2 to 1.
