Sen. Feinstein: Putin Needs to ‘Man Up’

Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) told State of the Union host Candy Crowley Sunday morning that it was time for Russian President and 2005 Super Bowl champion Vladimir Putin to “man up.”

“The nexus between Russia and the separatists has been established very clearly,” Feinstein said, referring to flight MH17, presumably brought down by pro-Russian Ukrainian separatists.

“So the issue is: where is Putin? And I would say, Putin, you have to man up. You should talk to the world. You should say if this was a mistake — which I hope it was — say it. Even if it was a mistake, it’s a horrendous mistake to make. I think it points out the futility of what’s happening in the Ukraine, because there will be repercussions from this.”
