Video Captures Quake Rocking CNN Bureau In Japan

As the magnitude 8.9 quake hit Japan, CNN’s Tokyo bureau was staffed and busy–and someone had a camera to catch the building as it shook. The video shows walls rocking, television monitors swaying and, amazingly, a CNN staffer working the phones to cover the story.

The CNN bureau in Japan normally has six staff, all of whom are reportedly unhurt. But the bureau’s about to become a very busy place, with added correspondents already en route to cover the aftermath.

CNN’s Tokyo-based correspondent Kyung Lah has been covering the story nonstop since it broke in the 1a ET hour.
