Wednesday Cable Ratings: CNN’s Cooper Hits Second-Lowest Ratings Ever

CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360 averaged just 63K viewers in the 25-54 demo and 269K total viewers Wednesday night, marking the show’s second-lowest total viewer rating ever. The only time Cooper’s show dropped lower than that was on December 6, 2013 when the show had 255K total viewers. Overall, CNN averaged 78K viewers in the demo during primetime, putting it in fourth place behind, Fox News, MSNBC and HLN.

Fox’s The O’Reilly Factor was #1 in the demo during the 8 p.m. hour with 305K viewers, nearly five times what CNN’s Anderson Cooper had. MSNBC’s All In with Chris Hayes came in second with 125K and HLN’s Nancy Grace was third with 82K.
