Finally: Lady Gaga’s Meat Dress is a Thing You Can Eat
2010: a year of many things, including same-sex marriage in New Hampshire, the popularization of Four Loko, and of course, Lady Gaga‘s VMA look, which was a dress made out of raw beef. The look made a lot of us uncomfortable, but if it made you hungry, you’re in luck: at a hot pot restaurant in china you can now order a mini replica of the look as your dinner.

According to RocketNews, “The idea is that you’ll peel the layers of meat off of the doll to put into the hotpot. As you do, the doll’s body will become more and more exposed with each slice removed.” The site says that the responses to the photo above have been mainly positive, though the concept has its naysayers- some say it’s not hygienic, others say that it’s sexist due to the undressing situation. We’re just shocked that someone actually made a meat dress for human consumption.
Correction: An earlier version of this article said that Four Loko had been banned. While the company that makes Four Loko removed caffeine and other ingredients from the beverage, Four Loko was not and has never been banned.
