Fox’s Will Cain Salutes Bondi’s ‘Productive’ Run as AG Hours After Trump Sent Her Packing: ‘Historic Lows for Murder Rates’

Fox’s Will Cain praised ousted Attorney General Pam Bondi for a run he called “productive” — including “historic lows for murder rates” — just hours after news broke that President Donald Trump had sent her packing.

In a Truth Social post on Thursday, Trump confirmed Bondi would be leaving the attorney general’s office for a private sector job, calling her a “loyal friend” who has “faithfully served.”

Nonetheless, her tenure as AG was fraught with scrutiny and criticzed across the political spectrum. In the past several weeks, rumors of Trump’s frustration with Bondi’s work have circulated, particularly with regard to her handling of the files related to Jeffrey Epstein.

Bondi is staying on approximately one month while Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche transitions into the role until a replacement is found.

Thursday afternoon, Cain was joined by Fox News’ Peter Doocy, who shared a hypothesis about why Bondi has been ousted, especially considering President Donald Trump still has “admiration” for Bondi and her work.

“We will learn quickly, whatever Todd Blanche is tasked with first, that must be something, we can deduce, is something the attorney general was not comfortable with or was not doing to the president’s standard,” Doocy said.

Building off Doocy’s suggestion that Bondi is still in good standing with the president, Cain began to rattle off the accomplishments of her “productive” run.

“Historic lows for murder rates, 32,000 immigration cases in the first six months, seven of the FBI’s ten most wanted were captured, over 6,000 child trafficking victims located, 1,700 child predators arrested and more than 300 human traffickers apprehended,” he said.

In preparation to be joined on his show by border czar Tom Homan, Doocy recalled that Bondi joined Fox & Friends last week to speak about the need for tougher laws on citizenship.

“We would love to get some tougher laws from congress on this,” she said. “We have been talking to some members. But yeah we can do it. These people again went to prison, one of them we are looking at now lied about when they got their citizenship, their naturalization. They lied about their marriage to get in this country. You cannot do that, being a citizen in this country is a privilege. It’s not a right.”
