London’s Latest Nightclub Trend is Nudity

nightclubFollowing the success of London’s nude pop-up restaurant, a clothing-optional nightclub will be popping up in Soho every other week, Eater reports. It’s called “Get Naked,” and patrons are encouraged to do exactly that.

The pop-up launches October 7th, and it sounds terrifying. Being in a nightclub fully clothed is terrifying. Add to that other naked strangers grinding up against you and you have the recipe for some extreme emotional scarring, and possibly crabs. To alleviate the inevitable awkwardness, there will be complimentary shots (handed to you by naked models, of course) and also hula-hoopers to provide entertainment.

For those uncomfortable with complete nudity, that’s okay. There will be an onsite body paint artist to dab paint onto the parts of you you don’t want strangers to see.

In a press release obtained by Eater, the nightclub’s creator says the reason for the club is that “clothes are so 2015.” We believe they’re 2016 too, and hopefully 2017, but within the confines of “Get Naked,” you do you, people.
