A Judge Banned This Guy From Ordering Pizza

rahm-emanuel-pizzaOne of the cardinal rules of pizza is that you have to be nice to the people at your local pizzeria. First of all, it’s the right thing to do. Second of all, when you stumble in at 2:01am and the place closed at 2:00, you want them to like you enough to give you the pizza anyway. It goes without saying that you do not harass the people at the pizzeria, something this guy in Florida learned the hard way.

According to The Treasure Coast News, Randy Riddle, a 49 year old man from Sebastian, Florida used five different phone numbers as well as fake names to order pizza from various local establishments that he never paid for, causing them to lose $667 in business. Police told the paper that “his purpose is to haggle either over the price of the food or the quality upon delivery.” Over the course of a three week period while police were investigating him, he also would order pies to fake addresses or vacant locations.

He was charged with four counts of harassing phone calls, two counts of first-degree petty theft and one count of second-degree petty theft. He was taken into custody on August 1 and posted $5,500 bail. The worst part of all? He’s not allowed to call pizzerias anymore, so if he wants pizza he has to actually go into the store and get it every single time.
