Cat Cora Becomes First Female Chef Inducted Into Culinary Hall Of Fame
Cat Cora, despite that thing that happened a few weeks back, is still a trailblazing chef at the end of the day. She’s got television shows, charities, and the ability to look really classy after a DUI. And what better way to honor her than by inducting her into the American Academy of Chefs Hall Of Fame?
That is precisely what happened on July 15th: recognizing her status as the first female Iron Chef and as a role model for other young female chefs in America, the American Culinary Foundation inducted Cora into a young but exclusive club that’s honored chefs like Thomas Keller, Charlie Palmer, and chef-god James Beard.
“I am honored and humbled to accept this prestigious award and to join such an esteemed group of past honorees,” said Cora in a statement. “For me to be chosen as the first female chef to be inducted into the Culinary Hall of Fame is truly a highlight of my career.”
Congratulations on this achievement, Cat Cora! Let’s play some Beyonce and celebrate this milestone.
