Lucky Peach Launches New Drool-Worthy Website

It is as glorious as you would have ever hoped for. But then David Chang goes ahead and declares ramen to be dead and we have all. the. feels.

While the team at Lucky Peach have been producing a kick-a** magazine for 3 1/2 years, Peter Meehan et al. have only known upgraded their beloved Tumblr into a new website. This website will include dining reviews in cities, recipes, videos, and features in the same vein of the magazine. From Meehan’s introduction:

There’s no shortage of food sites out there, many of which do what they do better than we ever could. There are those that do the news well and others that salaciously package a better life than the one you lead. So we’ll stick to what we do best: each month we’ll take a theme and tease out tangents from it, exploring wherever our noses lead us.

… We’re excited to find our way on this Internet thing and try to make sure that you never, ever look up from your phone or talk to your friends ever again.

And yes, this first one is ramen-tastic. Not only do we get the original (well, OK, 2.0) recipe for the Momofuku ramen (swoon), we get the bigwigs like Chang and Meehan weighing in on the “state of ramen.” Give us more ramen and Lucky Peach, or give us death.
