WATCH: Stephen Colbert Will Sing Really, Really Well For Food

Last night on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert broadway actress Jessie Mueller, who currently stars in the musical Waitress, was Stephen Colbert‘s guest. The two discussed how the smell of pie gets to the audience (they bake an actual pie in the lobby), eat pie, which Mueller never actually gets to do on stage, and indulge us in a few bars of Carole King‘s “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?”

Mueller played King in the original Broadway cast of Beautiful, and though she performed eight shows a week for a year and a half, she says she never got sick of the music. She and Colbert sing together which gives Colbert a chance to show off his musical chops. His very, very real musical chops:
