Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) hit back at President Donald Trump after he called her one of the “dumbest” members of Congress over her impeachment call.
“Mr. President, don’t take your anger out on me – I’m just a silly girl,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote on X on Tuesday in response to a lengthy Truth Social post from the president lashing out at her.
In his Tuesday Truth Social post, Trump questioned not only Ocasio-Cortez’s intelligence, but he also insulted Reps. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN).
“Stupid AOC, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, one of the ‘dumbest’ people in Congress, is now calling for my Impeachment, despite the fact that the Crooked and Corrupt Democrats have already done that twice before. The reason for her ‘rantings’ is all of the Victories that the U.S.A. has had under the Trump Administration,” Trump wrote.
He continued ranting by saying he’ll be examining Ocasio-Cortez’s “test scores.”
“When we examine her Test Scores, we will find out that she is NOT qualified for office but, nevertheless, far more qualified than Crockett, who is a seriously Low IQ individual, or Ilhan Omar, who does nothing but complain about our Country,” he wrote.
Ocasio-Cortez is calling for Trump’s impeachment, arguing his strikes on Iran over the weekend were unconstitutional. She also accused him of breaking “almost every promise you made,” likely referring to a split among MAGA faithful over Trump’s handling of Iran through military action rather than diplomacy.
“Take it out on whoever convinced you to betray the American people and our Constitution by illegally bombing Iran and dragging us into war,” she wrote. “It only took you 5 months to break almost every promise you made.”
On a followup post on X, Ocasio-Cortez called herself a “Bronx girl” and said she could “eat” Queens “boys” like Trump for breakfast.
“Also, I’m a Bronx girl. You should know that we can eat Queens boys for breakfast. Respectfully,” she wrote.
