Fox Hosts Crack Up Over Democratic Socialist’s ‘Proximity to Whiteness’ Claim: ‘You Slept With the Guy!’

Democratic socialist and Wisconsin gubernatorial hopeful Francesca Hong (D) sent the hosts of Fox & Friends giggling on Wednesday as they discussed her past remarks on her “proximity to whiteness.”

A day after Hong made headlines for refusing to clearly back off a 2021 social media post calling for the cancellation of Thanksgiving, anchors Lawrence Jones, Ainsley Earhardt, and Charlie Hurt had a field day with comments Hong previously made about her own “proximity to whiteness.”

In a 2021 interview with ListenMKE, Hong — a state Assembly member — discussed her own biracial son, whom she had with her now ex-husband, chef Matt Morris.

“My proximity to whiteness continues, right?” Hong says in the clip, which Fox & Friends played.

“My son is biracial. He is half white and half Korean, and I think navigating, you know, what his identity is and how people perceive him is always at the back of my mind.”

The comments prompted Jones to point out how Hong came by her “proximity” to whiteness:

CHARLIE HURT: These people are obsessed with race. That is what you call a racist.

LAWRENCE JONES: Makes no sense. Proximity? You slept with the guy!

Think of all of these candidates. All these candidates that speak so much about the racism and, Kamala Harris, marries a white guy. All of them are married to white people. And they talk about white privilege and how it’s oppressive to everyone.

And meanwhile, they all marry them. And I just don’t think you should believe them. I mean, come on. Proximity? It doesn’t get any closer than sleeping with a guy, proximity. Come on!

AINSLEY EARHARDT: They were very close in that moment. [Laughter]

JONES: I just don’t understand it.

EARHARDT: I don’t even know what that means proximity to whiteness? What does that mean?

JONES: She heard in some DEI camp that tells these people to deprogram them and they run around with these talking points but they forget about who they are with. Who they love.

At the end of the day, this country is becoming more and more mixed in, if you just look at it. Because the country doesn’t care about people’s color. They care about who they fall in love with that’s why you got mixed kids running all over the place.

That’s why they’re all over the ads because people love each other and they want to go out for a date. And you know what? Sometimes they don’t even care about their politics.

You love who you love. That’s just it. And so the fact that they are making this a big thing in modern day society, I think the country is just sick of it.
